Museums & Galleries NSW (M&G NSW)
is the leading agency to develop, support and promote regional, community and public museums and galleries across NSW. We present strategic programs, advocacy and services to a valued, viable and skilled sector.

M&G NSW’s Touring Exhibition Program offers regional, remote and metropolitan galleries and cultural venues a selection of contemporary, culturally diverse visual arts and craft exhibitions. The program works in partnership with NSW and ACT public galleries, contemporary art spaces, and craft and design centres to develop innovative, contemporary exhibitions for tour.

Partnership opportunities developed by M&G NSW enable the creation of exhibitions designed specifically for tour, uniting the specific curatorial skills of the originating organisation with in-house expertise in tour management. Planning for touring exhibitions is informed by sector feedback, through advice from M&G NSW’s Visual Arts Reference Committee and through ongoing and open dialogue with the sector.

M&G NSW receives core funding from the NSW Government through Arts NSW, with additional funding from project grants. M&G NSW is also assisted by the Commonwealth Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory board.
