CAST (Contemporary Art Services Tasmania)

CAST (Contemporary Art Services Tasmania) is Tasmania's leading contemporary arts organisation committed to assisting the development and promotion of new and experimental art.

CAST Touring is the NETS agency in Tasmania and manages all aspects of the development and tour of travelling exhibitions of contemporary art, craft and design through intrastate and national public gallery networks.

This agency works to provide a range of services across the development of and management of touring exhibitions through an Exhibition Development Fund, mentorship programs and professional advice.

CAST is assisted by the the Australia Council, the Federal Government's arts funding and advisory body, and through Arts Tasmania by the Minister for the Arts.

CAST is supported by the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy, an initiative of the Australian, State and Territory Governments.
